A common cause for this type of error is that the wrong type of power supply lead is being used with the printer (in which case, this may not be an actual printer fault at all).
A non-Magicard power lead (for example, that used for a typical Laptop computer) is often not powerful enough to drive the printer internal mechanics correctly. (Usually, this type of error is reported following an office move whereby laptops and printers are moved around).
The correct supply lead will have a yellow label attached (near the printer plug end) and will show the rating of ’90W’ (see the image below). The black rectangular box attached to the cable should also have a label attached and will show the brand name ‘Sunpower’.

If the power supply used is the correct type and the problem persists, then the most likely cause is an electrical fault in the power supply or printer. In this case, the best option would be to create a support case and contact Magicard Technical Support for further assistance.
