This error indicates one of the printer card sensors may not be behaving the way it should. This however, may not necessarily be a sensor fault but could be due to attempting to hand feed a card into the front of the printer with the printer's "hand feed" mode not selected.
The "hand feed" setting can be checked from the printer front panel menu by selecting Menu > Hand Feed > Change
With hand feed mode set to 'ON' the printer will only accept cards hand fed into the front slot (under the printer's display. (Conversely, with hand feed set to 'OFF', the printer reverts to auto feeding cards from the rear card hopper).
