This is the latest recommended driver for the Rio, Tango, Rio 2 and Tango 2 printer models.

Alternatively…

For the older Rio 2 and Tango 2 printers (not 2e) it is possible to use the latest unified driver
– though you will first need to carefully update the product ID as described in the attachment below.

The latest unified driver is an alternative driver for the Rio 2 and Tango 2 printer models.
This driver should ONLY be used if you are unable to use this recommended Rio 2 / Tango 2 driver (V6.02) due to software compatibility issues.

Before the latest unified driver can be installed, you need to change your printer’s Product ID (PID) from 1000 to 1800.
This can the be done using the ID Card Printer Support Utility. Full instructions for changing the PID can be found in the r2t2_pid_change_up.pdf below.


For Avalon E printers (with an ‘E’ in the serial number) you need Printer Driver 1.7.2
