This utility is intended for use as an advanced diagnostic and set-up tool, including setting up your Ethernet settings.

⚠️ Please do not use it to adjust any of your printer’s settings unless requested to do so by Magicard Customer Support.

This is an executable file.  To install:

  • Download the .exe file below.
  • Double-click on the downloaded .exe file.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions.

The ID Card Printer Support Utility is ONLY used with [all variants of]:  Pronto, Enduro & Rio Pro (1st generation only)

Note for Pronto only:

Where your Pronto Serial Number contains a letter, like: 12F1234.  Then this Support Utility can be used

If  your Pronto Serial Number is formatted as 8 ‘digits only’ (12345678) then this Support Utility CANNOT be used for your Pronto.

A Pronto with this 8 digit format serial number will have been built with a different electronics package and this page will help to explain the differences.

Instead please navigate to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right click your Pronto icon > Printer Properties > Then the Tools Tab for useful diagnostics tools.

4 stars were given because the printer was literally bought a month and a half ago and instead of just swapping it out with a new one, we had to go through the manufacturers warranty process. I will say, from the time I shipped it out to the time I got it back was great. Hardly any time passed.
