General Error 24:16
This error is raised in Pronto Engines while hand-feeding a Card to the standby position, while trying to block the front Sensor, if the mid Sensor blocks first. Resolve by upgrading to the latest firmware.
The bad news
This error is a fault with your printers middle card sensor.
The good news
The Pronto can now operate regardless of this sensor!
Upgrade to the Latest Pronto Firmware and the printer will no longer need to look for the Middle Opto Sensor status.
With the latest firmware it is not possible to get this error code.
Please follow the steps below to resolve this error
- Clear the error by unplugging the power lead, then plug back in
- Download and install the latest firmware
- Carry on with life.
