Printer Driver | Alto (with an E in serial)

This is the latest driver for the Alto model printers 
with an 'E' in the serial number.

Compatible with both 32 bit and 64 bit Microsoft Windows operating systems:

• Windows 8
• Windows 7
• Vista
• Windows XP
• 2003 Server / 2008 Server

My Alto does not have an 'E' in the serial number?

ℹ But the latest OS supported for that driver is Windows Vista.

If you have a later Windows OS you can follow the steps below to use your non 'e' printer with v1.7.2.
Before this v1.7.2 driver can be installed and used with a Non 'E' printer there are three simple steps

1. Upgrade your printers Firmware:   
   Alto/Opera/Tempo Firmware 4.06
2. You need to change your Alto printer's Product ID (PID) from 2000 to 2800.
   • This can the be done using the ID Card Printer Support Utility
     
     
3. ⚠ Caution must be taken when typing the new PID!
