Is my machine capable of using magnetic stripe cards?

Check your printers LCD screen.

If you see your printer name followed by an 'M"  or a "Mag"  then it has Magnetic encoding capability.

For printers with no display, look at the product description on the base label, or you can also enter your serial number on the Support Home Page to view the product code and description for your specific printer.

Please be aware that magnetic encoding capability, a magnetic encoder module, cannot be retro-fitted after a printer has been manufactured. It can can only be included at the time of manufacture.
