Does the Prima 4 or Prima 8 printer have a Pass Through mode?

The Prima 4 & 8 Printers cannot be used in "Pass Through" mode, for example to move a card directly to the laminating unit without printing. (i.e. cards that have already been printed and need laminating only).

  1. The final movement of the card prior to ejecting is performed by the Retransfer Ribbon which is only used during the printing cycle.
  2. The Prima 4 Laminator does not have a stand alone function, it can only work with the Printer connected.
