Correct Printer Power Supply - Pronto

Your Magicard Pronto must only be used with the correct Power Supply Unit (PSU) provided with the printer.

The wrong PSU can:

  • Cause print related issues (commonly faint or light printing)
  • Create errors (commonly 16:00 Can't lift print head)
  • Permanently damage your printers Controller PCB
  • Invalidate your printers warranty


The Pronto model could have one of two electronics packages. The simplest method to identify which is the serial number format shown below.

The PSU for your Pronto must be exactly as shown below, using the serial number format to identify the specific PSU:
